3/4 pound boneless beef round steak,, trimmed & cubed

1 tablespoon cooking oil

4 medium unpeeled potatoes, cut in 1" cubes

5 medium carrots, cut in 1-1/2" chunks

1 rib celery, cut in 1" chunks

1 large onion, cut in 1" chunks

1 14-1/2oz can chunky stewed tomatoes

3 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca

1 teaspoon browning sauce

1/8 to 1/4 teas pepper

1 cup frozen peas

Instructions: In a Dutch oven, brown the steak in oil. Add the next eight ingredients; cover and bake at 300* for 4-5 hours, stirring twice. Add the peas during the last 30 minutes of baking.
