1 cup apple juice

2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon margarine or butter

6 packets Equal or 1 3/4 tsp Equal Measure

1 teaspoon maple flavoring

1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions: In a small saucepan combine apple juice and cornstarch. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Stir in margarine, Equal, maple flavoring and vanilla. Serve over pancakes, waffles or French toast.

Makes 1 cup (16 one-tablespoon servings).
