Prune-Pecan Cookies

1 egg

7 dried prunes

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Pinch salt

24 pecan halves

Instructions: In a blender, puree egg and prunes until finely chopped. Pour into a mixing bowl. Add sugar. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to prune mixture and mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Top each cookie with a pecan half. Bake at 350* for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yield: 2 dozen.
