Barbecue Sauce

Qty Measure Ingredient

1 or 2 sticks butter (depending on size of roast)

juice of one lemon and add a few slices to pan

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons prepared mustard

1 bottle Worcestershire sauce

OR catsup or soy sauce (this flavor depends on your taste)

Instructions: Place all of the above ingredients in a small sauce pan with one-half cup of water and simmer a few minutes.

Baste meat with this sauce for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 450*F, then enclose in foil or cover in roaster with remaining sauce and cook slowly for several hours at 300*F.
