Qty Measure Ingredient

2 tablespoons shortening
1 pound ground venison
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup spaghetti, broken in 1" pieces
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 cup catsup
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
2 1/2 cups tomato juice
Instructions: Melt shortening in a large skillet over high heat.
Add venison and onion; cook, stirring, until meat is lightly browned.
Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Cover.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 45 minutes without removing cover.
