Qty Measure Ingredient

2 pounds venison burger
1/2 pound beef suet (unless already in burger), ground
1 1/2 pounds apples, diced small
2 pounds raisins
1 quart cider or orange juice
1/2 tablespoon ginger
1/2 tablespoon ground cloves
1/2 tablespoon nutmeg
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon allspice
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 pound brown sugar
Instructions: Combine all the above ingredients in a large pot.
Break the venison burger apart and stir to get a good mix.
Simmer the whole sweet-smelling mass for two hours with the pot covered.
Stir occasionally to prevent clumping.
