Venison Steaks

Qty Measure Ingredient

2 pounds venison steaks, 1" thick

1 1/2 tablespoons butter

1/8 teaspoon savory

salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, to taste

Instructions: Season steaks. Fry meat over medium heat for 5 minutes each side.

Sprinkle a little savory on the steaks as they fry.

Remove steaks to platter.

Pour mushroom sauce into fry pan, scrape bottom and sides to loosen meat tidbits and deglaze the skillet.

Spoon sauce over steaks and serve.
