1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened

2 1/4 cups milk, divided

1 package 4servinng size vanilla instant pudding

24 vanilla wafers

2 cups banana slices (about 3 medium-sized bananas)

Instructions: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese and 1/2 cup of milk, mixing at medium speed with an electric mixer, until well blended. Add the remaining milk and the pudding mix; beat at low speed for 1 minute. In a 1-1/2-quart serving bowl, layer 1/3 of the pudding mixture, half of the wafers, and half of the banana slices. Repeat layers, topping with the remaining pudding. cover with waxed paper or plastic wrap and chill.
