3 tablespoons butter

1 1/2 cups onion, chopped

1 1/2 cups ketchup

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1/8 cup vinegar

3/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions: In saucepan melt butter. Add onion. Cook until clear. Add rest of ingredients; stir to blend. Simmer over low heat about 20 minutes. Makes 3 cups.
