2 to 3 lbs. lean beef, cut in 1/2" chunks

4 to 5 onions, cut in 1" chunks

6 stalks celery, cut in 1/2" chunks

4 to 5 potatoes, cut in 1/2" chunks

1 can tomatoes, diced

1 envelope onion soup mix

1 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoons instant tapioca pudding

Water to cover

Instructions: Put all ingredients in a large covered roaster, stirring around to mix together. Bake in 250* oven for 5 hours. Do not open oven or take lid off roaster for entire 5 hours.
