Qty Measure Ingredient

1 teaspoon butter

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1/4 cup celery, chopped

1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped

1/2 clove garlic, minced

salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 16 oz can tomatoes

1 16 oz can whole kernel corn

1 32 oz can Ranch style beans

6 medium potatoes, cubed

3 cups water (or enough to make sauce without scorching)

Instructions: In Dutch oven melt butter; brown meat. Add onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Saute until brown.

Add salt, pepper and chili powder; stir. Add tomatoes, corn, beans, potatoes and water. Stir and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

Cook until potatoes are done, about 30-40 minutes.
