1 (3 pound) whole chicken
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
1/2 cup chicken bouillion/broth
1 -2 heads(20 or cloves garlic
Instructions: Remove giblets from chicken cavity, and trim excess fat. Rinse chicken and pat dry.
Combine salt,pepper, paprika and oil in bowl, and spread mixture evenly over chicken.
Place sliced onions in crockpot and add chicken broth.
Place chicken on top, breast side up.
Separate garlic into cloves, and place inside around chicken.
Cover and cook on LOW setting for 6 to 8 hours.
Remove chicken. Skim fat from liquid, and serve with rice.
Add green beans and a hot bread for a nice, easy nutritious meal.
