1 cup butter-flavored Crisco

1 cup chunky peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 eggs

3 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanila

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups quick-cooking oats

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed cornflakes

Instructions: In a mixing bowl, cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in milk and vanilla. combine the flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the cornflakes.

Drop by tablespoonfuls, 3 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten slightly.

Bake at 375* for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Remove to wire racks to cool.
