8 ounces cream cheese
3 sticks margarine
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons rum extract
3 cups sifted cake flour
Instructions: Cream the first 3 ingredients well. Add the 6 eggs, one at a time; mixing well .
Beat at med. speed for 2 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Bake in a tube pan for 1 1/2 hours. At 250 degrees for the first 45 minutes and 300 degrees for the remaining time.
