1 quart okra, cut up
1/2 to 3/4 cup cornmeal
salt, to taste
papper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
onion powder, to taste
cooking oil
Instructions: Heat cooking oil in skillet.
Mix cornmeal, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Coat okra with the cornmeal.
Put in hot oil; and cook until starting to brown before stirring.
Stir occasionally until uniformly brown and tender.
