2 eggs

1 cup milk

2 cups self-rising flour

1/4 cup sugar

oil for frying

powdered sugar

Instructions: Beat eggs, add milk and sugar, then mix well. Add flour and mix.

Place 1 1/2 inches of oil in a frying pan and heat until hot (about 10 minutes).

Using one cup of batter at a time, pour through a funnel into the oil, making a crisscross pattern.

When both sides are golden brown, put on a paper plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
