Heloise's Fudge Recipe

4 1/2 cups sugar

1 12 oz. can evaporated milk

3 6 oz. packages chocolate chips

1 10 oz package miniature marshmallows

1/2 cup butter or margarine (not diet or light)

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups chopped nuts

Instructions: Mix the sugar and evaporated milk in a large, heavy saucepan and slowly bring to a rolling boil.

Let this mixture boil for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the saucepan form the heat and add chocolate chips, marshmallows and butter.

Mix only until the chips and the marshmallows are melted. Add vanilla and nuts, and blend.

Spread in a large, ungreased pan. Let it cool and enjoy.
