1 package white cake mix

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup oil

4 eggs

1 package strawberry jello, or can use a pudding mix

1 box frozen strawberries, thawed

Instructions: Mix the cake mix and jello together. Add the oil, water and eggs, and beat until smooth.

Fold in half the strawberries and juice (save the rest for the icing).

Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.

Bake 1 hour at 350F oven.

TO MAKE A GLAZE: Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to the consistency that will drizzle over cake and run down sides; but not enough that will absorb into the cake.

Should be a VERY LIGHT glaze but not a solid cover like icing.

TO MAKE AN ICING: Combine 1 box powdered sugar, 1 stick butter and the rest of the strawberries and juice, and mix until well blended. Spread it on the cooked cake.

YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE JELLO WITH A SMALL SIZE BOX OF INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING MIX.

I use a strawberry cake mix, omitting the box of strawberries; bake in 13-x-9-inch baking pan for 35 minutes. Ice with bought strawberry icing.
