Sweet Pickled Banana Peppers

1/2 pound banana peppers, seeded and sliced so you have rings

1 or 2 hot peppers, seeded and sliced so you have rings

2 cups white vinegar

2/3 cup sugar or splenda

1 teaspoon pickling spices

Instructions: Sterilize quart jar.

Bring the vinegar, sugar/splenda, and pickling spices to a rolling boil.

Place peppers in the jar.

Pour on the pickling juice, bringing brine to within 1/2' of the top.

Be sure the edge of the jar has no juice on it.

Seal jar and leave for 2 weeks.
